My Family at the Garden City Pier
Keeping traditions alive, we went to the Garden City Pier and to the arcade, and to Painters Ice Cream Shop on the beach one last time of this Summer 2014 season. What a great summer it has been! We've had so much fun and made so many memories. We are truly blessed and we cant wait to see what fun the Fall of 2014 will bring! Tales with the Turners keep on coming!

It was so much fun to swim in the south end or "creek" of Pawleys Island. I hadn't been there in years. It was warm, calm, relaxing water and it was great to watch the sunset go down over the water and the marsh. Sometimes I cant even believe how lucky we are to live so close to so much beauty.
Brayden did GREAT at his first soccer practice! We were very impressed! Cant wait to see what he and his team do this season! His friend Kevin is on the team and his dad is one of the coaches, so it's really nice to see some familiar faces out there on the field!
Our sweet boy still teared up every day that we left him in his class his first week. But he has a really great teacher, Mrs. Douglas who is making the transition easier. He does have a good time once he gets there! His teacher gave him a great new book as a first day gift. We are excited for a great year in 1st grade!
