It's the Night for Ghosts, Ghoul's and all things Spooky----It's Halloween 2013!

Witches brew! It was so easy to make, it has lime sherbet and sprite-and that's it!

Witches broomsticks made out of pretzel sticks and string cheese, which was cut in half and cut with scissors to resemble the end of a broom.

Mummy hot dogs! Wrap regular hot dogs in crescent roll dough, bake in oven according to package directions, tiny dot eyes made of mustard or ketchup.

Emi and Brayden enjoying their mummy hot dogs.

Look out! Officer Turner and Batman are here to save the day!

Someone has good taste in decorating pumpkins!

Hudson's first experience with knocking on the door for trick or treating. He was saying, "tic teat" and it was adorable!

We got a lot of loot!

Boo at the Zoo! Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC

We have arrived, lets adventure now!

Na, na, na na na na ---Batman!

Batman in his batcave-if you look closely, you can see the bats behind him!

The elephant was giving us a good night time show!

Tina, come get some ham!

These pumpkins lit up and sang Halloween songs! Entertainment everywhere...

Mummies!

My happy Batman.

Hi Mr. Lion

Um, I'm guessing you had a good time Hudson?

We had so much fun at our first annual Boo at the Zoo trip! We decided to go up on the Sunday before Halloween. They had all kinds of attractions, and of course stations with trick or treating. An added bonus was getting to see the animals, they were out in full swing playing at night time! They had music and dancing and people did a circle dance to Thriller, and Ghost Busters, among other Halloween classic songs. It is definitely something we will want to make a family tradition to go to!

Halloween Cookie Making Fun!

I love them.

Mae came over and we made creepy, crawly, spooky Halloween cookies! We just baked sugar cookie dough, and made our own designs with the icing. It was so much fun! This is only the beginning of much more holiday baking we will do!

Farmer Hudson has lots of work to do

Aaand now he's over it....

Fall Fun With Emi and Mae

This weekend Emi came to visit and we went to the St. James Fall Festival and then we came home and made Nutter Butter Ghosts! The ghosts were so easy! All we did was melt white chocolate chips in a double boiler and and dipped the nutter butters (quickly before the chocolate hardened) into them and then added mini M&M's as eyes! So cute and fun. :)
