Friday Night Lights!

We had so much fun at our local hometown highs chool football teams home game! It was really extra fun being the week before Halloween, with a chill in the air and the spirit of fall all around us! The team won too!

Cotton Ball Ghost Craft

This is a fun craft for the kids! Cute out a "ghost" pattern and add eyes and a mouth. Let the kids fill in the ghost with cotton balls that they glue onto the pattern!

Skull Cupcakes

So cute they're scary! I just made cupcakes according to box instructions on a cake mix. Then I made icing using 4 tablespoons of butter, softened and mixed, then I added 3 to 4 cups of confectioners sugar with about 2-3 tablespoons of milk and a teaspoon and a half of vanilla until the frosting was a nice consistency. Then I cut large marshmallows in half, pulled back the cupcake liner and placed the half marshmallow to make a "jaw" for the skeletons. Then I added mini chocolate chips for eyes, nose and a mouth!

It's the Night for Ghosts, Ghoul's and all things Spooky----It's Halloween 2013!

Witches brew! It was so easy to make, it has lime sherbet and sprite-and that's it!

Witches broomsticks made out of pretzel sticks and string cheese, which was cut in half and cut with scissors to resemble the end of a broom.

Mummy hot dogs! Wrap regular hot dogs in crescent roll dough, bake in oven according to package directions, tiny dot eyes made of mustard or ketchup.

Emi and Brayden enjoying their mummy hot dogs.

Look out! Officer Turner and Batman are here to save the day!

Someone has good taste in decorating pumpkins!

Hudson's first experience with knocking on the door for trick or treating. He was saying, "tic teat" and it was adorable!

We got a lot of loot!

Halloween Cookie Making Fun!

I love them.

Mae came over and we made creepy, crawly, spooky Halloween cookies! We just baked sugar cookie dough, and made our own designs with the icing. It was so much fun! This is only the beginning of much more holiday baking we will do!
